Do you rent the church facilities out for non-member weddings?
We occasionally allow non-members to use our church facilities for a wedding by exception only. If you would like to request approval (as an exception to our policy), you may submit your request in writing. Please mail your request to the church address, attention: Admin. Council. In the request please state your reason for requesting our church for your wedding ceremony. Most exceptions that are approved involve special circumstances, such as the church you are a member of is remodeling. You may also want to view our Facility Use Booklet for weddings, rehearsals, and receptions.
All weddings at Friendship Christian Reformed Church must comply with our marriage guidelines. You must be able to agree and comply with these guidelines; no exceptions. -
Who designed the stained glass windows at Friendship CRC and what is the story behind each window?
Whilie the current facility was being built during 1997 and 1998, two church members (Cheryl Alles and Kathy VanderStel) were working hard designing and building all of the stained glass windows. You can learn more about these windows by going to the Stained Glass Windows webpage.
