FCRC Worship & Music Ministries
The Worship & Music ministries are open to all members and all ages. Please contact the church office, or one of the pastors, if you are interested in joining a ministry or if you need further information. For specific information on our worship services, please visit the worship web page. Our Worship & Music ministries include:
Choir
Our choir meets from September through April. Practices are on Wednesdays, at 7 pm. This is a great opportunity to share your voice with others in praising God.
Instrumentalists
Friendship Christian Reformed Church encourages the use of various musical instruments in our worship services; if you are accomplished in this area, please contact the church office (e-mail or phone: 616-877-4144) and they will put you in touch with a member of the Music Team.
Nursing Home Worship Services
Our church meets with residents and leads Sunday afternoon services at two local nursing homes. Would you like to visit with residents, lead in song, prayer or music, or give a word of encouragement to those in these residence halls?
Praise Teams
Praise Teams are groups of singers and instrumentalists who lead in worship and praise.
Special Music
Our services (usually during the 5:00 pm service) often include what we call "special music" (or a ministry of music). Would you like to provide the special music for a service? Do you know of an individual or group that you would like to have at our church? Let us know. We are always open to ideas and names -- please e-mail the church office; be sure to include your contact information (phone number) and when you would like to provide the ministry of music (which month or months) -- or call the church office (616-877-4144).
